Different Packages, Different Advantages
The software comes in four different packages, which are Free, Pro, Pro+WinPE and Technical packages. Each of these packages feature their own advantages over the others. The first package, as the name suggests, is free of cost. It allows the user to test the capabilities of the software and know its full potential. It’s only limitation is that it can only recover 2 GB worth of data. If you wish to recover more, you need to purchase the other packages. The Pro and Pro+WinPE package both feature additional technical support, alongside unlimited amount of data recovery.
The technical package features similar capabilities, however, it comes with a technician license, which means you can further redistribute the software to your clients and colleagues.
Once EaseUS data recovery software has been installed on your system, it will start analysing all your storage devices, which are connected to your computer. After it finishes, it prompts the user to select a location where the search process will start.
Scanning Process
As the user selects a location, the first scan mode, the quick scan mode is automatically initiated. The quick scan mode is a fast scanning mode, which puts emphasis on bringing forth fast results. This mode is able to retrieve results in a few minutes. The scan mode looks for data remnants in the memory to review results.
As the quick scan mode ends, the results are displayed and the second scan mode, the deep scan mode is automatically started. This scan mode takes a lot more time than the initial scanning process, as it features a wider search area, and is much more advanced in nature. It searches for all the deleted files, even if they are inaccessible, hidden or system files.
Once the results are out, the use has various options to choose from. The user can filter the results according to their file types, or simply search for a file using its name. If you are not sure about the name, you can use the preview feature of the software and simply look at the contents of the file before recovering the file.
